Dryer sheets, like Bounce, keep your laundry fresh and static free. If you run out of dryer sheets in the middle of doing laundry, try this trick: mix a teaspoon of hair conditioner with 2 tablespoons of water and pour onto a cotton washcloth. Put the washcloth in the dryer with your clothes -- the conditioner will have a very similar softening and static-eliminating effect as a dryer sheet.
